Dr. Emilio Hernández, Industrial Engineer and Dr. in Geology, professor at UPC, founder and Chairman of Barcelona Smartmoto Challenge in 2012, founder of Beyond Formula Student project and motorsport team, founder and ex-general manager of anella industrial project, ITC infraestructure and services for Catalonian automotive sector. He brought Formula Student project to Catalonia in 2008 and the Formula Student Spiain event to Barcelona racetrack in 2010. Recently he has created, in 2018, the Formula Student Andorra event that take place on Parcmotor for autonomous and connected cars test-track. Meanwhile, Barcelona Smartmoto Challenge has taken place in Moscow and Wroclaw. He participated during the development and launching of the first commercial Spanish electric scooter, SCUTUM between 2015 and 2016. Now he is, also, external consultant of Spanish telco company Cellnex Telecom for developing the Parcmotor autonomous and connected cars test-track project.
